Weird youtube video/SS not autoimmune?

This one is for the books! Skip over this post if weird things annoy you.

Just very different (to say the least!...hopefully some of you will find it interesting and maybe fun)

Last night I was bored and a bit uncomfortable and started goofying off on youtube, while I was resting in bed and using my ipad.

I found this person claiming to be a "medical intuitive." He has authored many books. He seems to have a following that really, really likes him. It ended up being the weirdest thing in the world.

His name is/was Andreas Moritz. He has an eclectic background. He seems Hispanic, but is from Germany. He mysteriously lived in Greece many years. Then, he mysteriously moved to Wisconsin. WTH? Then, he mysteriously moved to the Carolinas.

He has many health related videos on line. He seems like a well informed and kind person. He doesn't seem to have a medical education. Most, if not all of the information he relates, seems to be information I have heard before in articles or on-line. However, since many of these videos were from a few years ago, I think I could say accurately, he was providing news that was state of the art at the time...but I'm not sure. Two of his more popular books seem to be one about a liver cleanse that involves drinking Epsom Salts (!) and another about cancer and how he feels that cancer is a disease that comes to teach you things and help you and is not necessarily a big problem.

Ok. He did a video on Sjogren's Syndrome. I was tired (still am at the moment). Apparently it was in reaction to someone calling asking a question. I will try to get the link shortly. Basically, I think the gist of it was that SS is not an autoimmune illness. I think he was saying it was more like the body was trying to protect itself...and it has something to do with either the gallbladder or the liver. ????

Now, here is the other oddity. (There were many in my book). The man mysteriously died on 12/12/12. He actually did a video hours before he died. His family (and/or friends???) took a very long time to say why he died and there was never any mention of a funeral, etc. After people on his website demanded to know how he died, a message was put up on his FB site saying that he had lots of illnesses as a child and was suppose to die many years ago. These illnesses left him weak. Then, not too long ago, he was exposed to mold. This might have influenced his heart. The end. Or something like this.

Weird. Weird. Weird.

Ya know, I don't even know exactly why I'm mentioning all this, except it just gave me the creeps...ESPECIALLY when I saw the video about SS. Ok...looking for the video. Sorry to waste your time. I guess I just wanted to get it off my chest. Anyone ever heard of this man? Thanks.

I wasn't able to get a link. I just watched part of it again and I'm having trouble understanding him.

It's called Healing Sjogren disease with the liver Flush.

I wouldn't put much, if any value in it. It is just haunting me this morning.

Oh my! Besides cancer and diabetes not being diseases, this man claims there is no proof that AIDS is contagious! He's a medical intuitive alright!

He was reading everything he relayed, very poorly at that, he seems to be pretty well sedated, and all comments were shut down for his videos! Wonder why?

These are the very ones who pray on very scared newly diagnosed people who have not taken the time to ask questions from a qualified medical professional, or to take advantage of the countless good information that can be found on the internet, or in a library!

Thanks for posting this, Nomad! It's a good example of who NOT to listen to or purchase from! EVER!

You are very kind SK. I have met someone almost exactly like this guy in my community and he gave me the creeps too. Ironically, I’m open to alternative meds, natural meds, loving thoughts as being good for the mind and body. BUT I think there are frauds out there to steer clear of. And i also believe in Science. These people who take advatage of the sick creep me out!!!I also sense this guy isn’t big on accountability or responsibility. Maybe they eventually believe their own nonsense. Ugh!

That is such scary stuff…..those guys have a way of suckering people in and they don't care about the damage they can do.

Thanks Nomad, but I'm NOT ALWAYS KIND, not to those who prey on the sick! I approve membership to Ben's Friends in many groups, and you would not believe the creeps trying to enter to sell miracle cures! There are times we are inundated! I can be pretty ruthless with them! Sometimes you just have to hit the decline or eject button! We've got to protect the group!
