Hi! I am new, just got on the site. Everything I have found is from 2018 or earlier. A lot from 2014. Do I have to be on as a user longer to see newer posts? Maybe I am not looking in the right place?

Hey Tammy,
Just for your info and to assist. On the initial community page Just above the list of topics, on the left hand side of the window are 4 titles. The title is highlighted in orange, depending on which title is being shown.
all categories > Categories Latest Top
If you click on ‘Categories’ it will show all of the differing headings for the community.
If you click on ‘Latest’ it will show the latest post.
If you click ‘Top’ it will show the top posts.
It sounds to me like ‘Top’ is probably highlighted and that is why you are seeing older posts.
