I have had that problem. In fact last year they got so severe that I had to have an ablation to kill the small area of my heart that was sending out an unwanted signal for my heart to contract when it wasn’t supposed to( PVC). They have recently come back again. I am going to see a electrocardiologist next week. This cardiologist specializes in the electrical conduction system of the heart/. However I discovered during my annual physical that I was taking too much thyroid meds. The dosage has been reduced and it will take 2 more weeks to fully see if that takes care of the problem. I think it is a contributing factor but not sure if it is the main cause. Time will tell. I don’t know about you but those PVC’s had some pretty uncomfortable symptoms like chest pain, shortness of breath, mental fog (ugh add that onto the Sjogren’s) etc. I would encourage to get into a specialist ASAP and get checked out. Good luck. Let me know how you do. I am interested in a good outcome for you.
Interesting. I was reading through this whole thread, and noticed pericarditis. I’ve been dealing with this since January, and am currently on a prednisone taper in addition to the daily colchicine to try to knock the inflammation back down. I do get palpitations with this, but my heart itself has checked out as perfectly fine. That’s reassuring at least.
I wish you luck dealing with this @chiquitads46 and @Snowflake
Thanks. Am going to a specialists next week.
Thank you for your comment and support. Will keep an eye and follow up with both cardio and rehumatology.
