Hi everyone!

I'm SK, and I have Sjogren's Syndrome, Psoriatic Arthritis, Rayanud's Phenomenon, Fibromyalgia, and a few other ailments! For those who don't know me, I have been a moderator on the Fibromyalgia, Psoriatic Arthritis, and Lupus sites of Ben's Friends, until my mom's fall down the stairs that resulted in a broken hip. It was necessary for me to give her my full attention and energy, so I resigned my moderating positions. As of today, five months later, she has successfully completed her in-home PT and OT and though she is still hobbling around on a cane, she is awesome for being almost 82 years old. I'm her biggest fan!

dancermom mentioned that she needed some help here, and though I have not been exceedingly active, I have been a member since the beginning.

Tez (Terri) and I are old friends, we worked as mods together on the Lupus site. We worked together to build the Lupus and Sjogren's and Fibro and Sjogren's groups before it was made a dedicated site. I am here to help her moderate this site, and hope that she will be well enough to return to us very soon!

I am open to questions, comments, and certainly information!

Glad to be here, and wishing you all well,

SK

So glad you could help out here, SK!

Thanks dancermom, it's good to be back!

By the way, according to 'ning' I have used my available 100 open friend requests over the entire BF network, and cannot request your friendship here or on any other site, so until I search out the requests that were never responded to over the nearly dozen groups I belong to, and reverse them, I cannot do a request!

If ever you would like, I would be glad to accept your friend request!

Thanks for stepping up as moderator. I am not very active on this site, but I love getting the insight from other on it.

Hi Elizabeth,

You're welcome! Hopefully we can get this going again! Please stop by when you can! Look forward to hearing from you!

Be well, be happy,

SK

Thank you

Hi shanni!

You're welcome! Glad to do it!

Thank you SK and everyone. I have felt very isolated with this illness until now.

I understand, I think all chronic illness is isolating, but the rarer they are the tougher it is, and even if people have heard of Sjogren's doesn't mean that they actually found out about the more serious consequences we suffer and face.

You are both terrific -- so luck to have both of you, Tez and SK!

Terri,

I cannot tell you how glad I am to hear from you! I was heartbroken when I could not find you on the Lupus site, but I understand why, and I'm absolutely overjoyed to see that you have stopped in to say hello! OMG, the tears are rolling!

Yes, it will be fantastic to work with you again, we always had so much fun (as sick as we are at times) and fun is always contagious! Just promise me that you will NOT overdo it!

It was supposed to be in the 60's and sunny today, don't you know, not only have we had pouring rain, but it snowed like crazy today! My old bones are ready for some sunshine, but YOU have been my sunshine today!

Love you girl,

Susan

Thank you dancermom, and you have most certainly been a blessing! Your arrival here is long overdue!

So very sorry to know that you have had to go through yet another trial. Don't worry girlfriend, we'll cry on each other's shoulders, lick each other's wounds, an laugh like hyenas again soon! I mean we already walk like 'em!

Wish I could show so many of my own teeth when I laughed! Sjogren's has most of my teeth! I'm even scarier!

LOL! That kitten looks like it's wearing my upper denture! ha! Where do you find this stuff?
