I am very pleased to announce that we have a new mod here on Sjogren's Syndrome!

Her name is purplebutterfly, and you may know her as a member from the BF Lupus site, and/or a moderator from BF Fibromyalgia group! She will remain a mod on Fibro, but was so taken with this great group, wanted to extend here with us! That speaks volumes as far as the caliber of our group!

She is a great lady, and a close friend of mine, she is very kind and patient, as all good nurses are!

Please welcome her all!

I know purplebutterfly well, and she is a lovely person and a terrific moderator. Thank you for volunteering, purplebutterfly!

Welcome and thank you!!! So, does this mean we have two: SK and purple butterfly?

PB: do you have all these health issues?!?!?! Yikes!
I have lupus and SS …and a bunch of related issues.

Thank you again!

Yes, two of us! A team, and if Terri can recover and come back, we'll have a trio!

Let's not forget our leader, dancermom! She has been fantastic as mod support!

Wow! Actually, I’m fairly new (just post ALOT!) so I wasn’t familiar with the background. Was going to the TN site and still do now and again. Found that site excellent, but desperately needed help with SS. This site is excellent too! Thank you SK and ALL of the volunteers!

How nice - SK and PurpleButterfly as our moderators! Two wonderful women!

Nomad, that must be a very good group too, I know Rick from the Raynaud's group on the rare disease groups, he was a great mod there, also know Red a little, he's always willing to help us all on the main mod group!

My heart goes out to all who suffer, but I know about TN through first hand experience with my S-I-L (from a root canal), and because of her suffering I did some pretty in-depth research on it before I even heard of Ben's Friends. Every medical site describes it as possibly the worst pain known to modern medicine.

Gee thanks, girls! (blush, grin) You're just saying that about us because it's true! LOL!

See, you got me going with the adjective discussion! ha! Don't worry, I have a few adjectives of my own! We could all get banned for life for just a few, I'm sure!

Okay, it's game time with the grandson! He's gonna slaughter me on the x-box! I can barely see the little stuff on the TV screen, even with glasses on, and these arthritic hands, and semi demented mind need to soon figure out which of these 14 or 16 buttons, and toggles move what!

Thank you SK and dancermom and every one

Some of you I no and I look forward to getting to no everyone.

nomad I have lupus, fibro, arthritis, tmj, asthma, hypokalemia , and a couple of more.

I grew up in AL, KY, and MS and tend to type like i talk so if i say something you dont understand just ask me.

Welcome purplebutterfly. This site will get even better with you on board.

BTW, pb and I had worked together as mods on Fibro. When my mom broke her hip it was necessary for me to resign the mod spot, and when I returned I chose small groups to moderate rather than something as big as fibro.

Our southern belle!
