MRI results

I received my results back from MRI and I am being referred to Shands Hospital in Gainesville, FL. To a Dr Conner. Who is suppose to be a specialist in my problem. (or should I say 1 of my problems) The Neuro said I have lots of white masses on the brain like more than normal. She said she believes I have Vascular degenerative disease of the brain. More test I guess will be done. I looked it up and its really hard to comprehend because of course my reading understanding is suffering but I have to wait until this Dr sends my MRI results and findings to Shands which is about 55 miles from my home and they call me with an appointment to come in. Keep in mind I am only 47 so I am a little freaked out on this. I didn't even get a chance to ask about the sjogrens and could it cause this etc. Good news is no sign of strokes and no sign of tumors. I am just get so tired of fighting each and everyday just to get through the day. My muscle issues have eased a great deal since I stopped my statin drug 3 months ago. I go tomorrow to give blood to check on everything for my heart so Please say a prayer that my numbers are all good and I don't have to restart the crestor!!!!

I just keeping telling myself This too shall pass, but it sure is taking a long time.

I’m sorry that you are going through so much. The good news is that it sounds like you are receiving the care that you need and have received a good referral. Keep us in the loop.

Wishing you the best, I am new to the site and I’m not sure if this is a new or old post. But I will be thinking about you. I just started my struggle in Jan. 2016 with the sjogrens that I haven’t even been diagnosed with but it is still a struggle. I hope you have a supportive family and I will be praying that everything goes well with you!
