Best eye drops?

So sorry this happened to you, I have had my eyes scratched up from the dryness and it's terrible! I'm glad they gave you something for it. Hopefully they have now healed.

I also have plugs in my bottom ducts. It does help some. I use eye drops often and so far my corneas are okay. My eye doc says keep using them. It is working.

I have plugs as well but it did very little for me. They also didn't cause a problem so they are still there but no big difference. Restasis, flaxseed, etc etc and tons of eye drops day and night. Fun fun.

I will say that I had a moment at work awhile ago when something emotional came up and my eyes felt funny. When I wiped at them, I ended up forgetting what we were talking about because I was staring at my fingers. My co-worker was like "what's up?" I had tears for the first time in years so I was looking at them like they were a totally foreign object. LOL. Ya gotta take joy in the little things. It hasn't happened since but I'll take it. (My doc said that the med combinations must be working now). There is hope!

My daughter was at a vision conference and brought me home a bottle of Natural Opthalmics Homeopathics Eye Drops. Best thing I’ve ever used. I don’t even use my Restasis any more.

While they’re not sold in drug stores, they are easily purchased on line. They’re a little pricey for each bottle, but I think I was paying more for the Systane single use vials.

There are several variations, so make sure you purchase the “tear stimulation” formula

Yes, the Systane vials are pricey but I try to use one for 3 days.

Hi JennaNYC,

I'm also new. Another member recommended Natural Opthalmics Eye Drops Tear Stimulation formula. They sell them at Amazon.com for about $15. I just ordered some to try. My doctor prescribed Restasis. I haven't used it because my pharmacist says Restasis is very potent. I have tried other drops and it seems my eyes are sensitive. The member who recommended the Natural Opthalmics says they work really great and helped her dry eyes a lot. I hope this info is helpful.
