I have the flu shot every year with my Rheum. Blessing. I have the Pneumonia vacc. every 4 or 5 years as advised as well even while having SS, TN, taking Plaquenil and Methotrexate. The worst of it all is that they found I have MRSA while doing a routine nose swab on the way into surgery to have a Nerve Stimulator implanted for extreme pain. They gave me specific IV antibiotics and nasal antibiotic ointment for this is what freaks me out. It doesn’t necessarily mean that I have an active infection but it still creeps me out. I find myself having to just stop myself from worrying about it.
