The right cheek of my buttocks is causing me serious pain lately. Yes I know this is usually sciatica and Ive had that for 20 years but this is different. The pain is like a serious strain and its difficult and painful to bend over. Could this have anything to do with sjogrens ? Im 62 years old and was only diagnosed 10 weeks ago although Ive had symptoms for years that went undiagnosed.
It likely isn’t related. That said, if it’s that bad, I would get it checked out. There’s also something called piriformis syndrome that could cause similar pain. I know that if I had a new type of pain that was impacting my activities of daily living, I would go see the doctor about it. This could be through your GP.
