Hello all - I recently had my routine bloodwork come back, and some test results were "out of range". Specifically, the SPEP and UPEP tests. Is an "out of range" result common? Does anyone know what this means? And does anyone know what these two tests diagnose? Thank you!!
Im sorry to say that I have not heard of those test…
These tests measure proteins in the blood. You should ask your doctor about these tests. The tests can diagnose inflammation or dehydration or other infections.
I had this test as well my Kappa/Lamba proteins were high, but my doctor didn't seem alarmed. I would double check with your doctor
