Autologous syrum eye drops anyone?

I don't recall hearing about these before, but Tog mentioned that they worked well for her. Here is a link with more info.

I never heard of it, but I wanted to add that I am on restasis, and it works very well for me. My eyes use to be glued shut at night from no tears. Very painful!! My eyes sight was going bad. My eye Doctor said from 1 thru 10, 10 being the best my eyes were at a 2.

I have heard of it. This is the next step for me. I am on Restasis, and tried a compounded eye drop (don't remember what it was). Those were extremely stingy, very expensive, and did nothing for me. If/when my current treatment plan is no longer sufficient, this will be the next step.

I don't use eye drops throughout the day. I have not found any eye drops that have worked well for me, and many leave my eyes stingier and dryer. I use Restasis twice a day, night ointment, and try to use warm compresses once a day, especially during a flare. I have top and bottom tear ducts plugged. I also wash my eyelids daily, as I kept getting blepharitis.

I'm not sure how much gets covered through the insurance. I actually just had to get my Restasis approved by my insurance.
