It's been two and a half weeks since the surgery on my eyes for glaucoma. It seems like my vision is worse. I wish I had someone to talk to who's been around this block.. it doesn't seem that there is a "Ben's friends" site for glaucoma. If there is one could someone send me the link?
I'm sorry you're still having a rough time with this. You've been in touch with the surgeon about this? I'm wondering if there is still inflammation. Some of the vision damage may be permanent, and the worsening may be related to inflammation. Definitely speak to your doctor about this.
The doctor toldme I have nervedamage and vision loss that is permanent. I just don't want to lose any more...It's gotten quite hard to read.
Where I live in Florida, we have what's called the Lighthouse for the Blind.
A friend of mine who has struggled w/ glaucoma for years is getting support there.
Perhaps you could find a contact number online.
In her case, she had to give up all computer contact as her sight failed,
so you might have more success if you look for phone support.
Just a thought.
